Playful Bunnies News: It has been a fun week exploring the farm, pumpkins, and fire fighters! We continued to buy, sell, and sort the food in our farmer’s market in the play room. We worked on our fine motor skills pulling apart cotton balls for lamb masks. We sang Mary Had A Little Lamb with the masks and retold the nursery rhyme, Little Bo Peep. We combined red and yellow to make orange and enjoyed pretending to put out fires in our muscle room. During circle time we learned about letter G, read farm books, and enjoyed reading and retelling, 5 Little Pumpkins. We loved meeting the fire fighters, learning fire safety, and exploring a fire truck.  What a great week!

Cool Cats News: The Wyoming Fire Department visited our school and the Cool Cats loved it!   They practiced leaving the building when the fire alarm sounded and sat very quietly as Firefighters Taylor talked about fire safety.  The firefighters encouraged all the families to have a meeting spot outside and explained that they should never go back in a burning building to go after toys, pets and family members.  They should tell a firefighter who is missing.  The Cool Cars especially enjoyed climbing in the real fire truck!

Top Dogs News: This week we played lots of Games with Mr. G Gooey Gum!   We then had a “Blink” Walk with Glow sticks and then played “Guess the Glow” with a Halloween Flashlight.  We began learning more about body parts with “Mr. Bones” and began to work on our big show for the Halloween party!
