Office News-Tuition reminders were sent home with your preschoolers last week. The second quarter begins this coming Monday.

Top Dogs News: This week we played lots of Games with Mr. G Gooey Gum!  First, he gave us some clues with Hangman.  We then had a Spooky Halloween Walk with Glow sticks and then played “Guess the Glow” with a Halloween Flashlight.  We began learning more about body parts with “Mr. Bones” and began to work on our big show for the Halloween party!

Cool Cats News: The Cool Cats are starting to have fun with Halloween, which was especially handy while we learned all about the letter H this week. We’ve been reading Halloween books, practicing our Halloween songs for our performance, using our felt boards to make jack-o-lantern faces and dress witches, and matching colors to do a candy corn craft. We also read books about a hedgehog named Hedgie, a Honey Hunt, and Harry, the Dirty Dog. We had fun with our crafts – turning a letter H into a house, using a fork to add spines to Hedgie the hedgehog, painting a honeypot and adding fingerprint bees, and making a hot dog with ketchup and mustard. Our older Cool Cats really were excited to add H words to our H word sheet and were coming up with new words every day – even hearing some new ones in the books we’d read. It was a great week!
