Playful Bunnies News-The Bunnies had a big week getting ready for Halloween! We read several Halloween books including a fan favorite – Big Pumpkin by Erica Silverman. The audio version of it (on YouTube) is really fun! For crafts, we made a shape witch, used markers and stickers to decorate a witch’s hat, and played with pumpkin pie playdough. We also love practicing our songs for our Halloween performance. So much fun!

Cool Cats News- The Cool Cats enjoyed learning about the letter ‘I’, the number 3, and a star. We read a book about igloos and created our own igloo using packing popcorn. We also read a book called ‘Just One More’ ice cream scoop that goes splat! Our craft mimicked that ice cream splat with glitter paint. We also enjoyed a pumpkin craft, Halloween sensory bin, Halloween stickers, Halloween songs, and Halloween books. The big holiday is just a few school days away. 🎃

Top Dogs News-H is for Horrible Hair! Haunted Houses, Halloween Candy, and Hullubaloo! Black was the color of the week. We practiced for our upcoming Halloween program, learned about the parts of the body, days of the week and all about autumn. We read “It’s Halloween” by Jack Prelutsky, “The Little Old Lady Who Wasn’t Afraid of Anything”, and “The Halloweiner” by Dav Pilkey. Our song of the week was “Stomp Little Monsters”.
