Tuesday-Regular Classes and Top Dogs Homework Due.  

Thursday-Regular Classes and Top Dogs Homework goes home.  

Friday-Regular Classes and last day to donate food.  Triangle day for the Top Dogs!  

Office News:  Dont’ forget to turn in your picture order by Monday!  Please place in the red mailbox on the playground. 

-We have collected 125 items of food and have earned our popcorn party!  We are now trying for 200 items for a doughnut party.  Friday is the last day for donations.  

-Don’t forget to RSVP to Lydia through remind to let us know how many will be attending the Thanksgiving feast.  Also, please let us know if you are not attending, too.

Cool Cats News:  The Cool Cats really settled in for a great week of learning.  We focused on the letter ‘K’, the number 5, and a Pentagon.  During our meeting we look at several pictures that start with the letter of the week.  This week’s K words included kayak, kitten, kite, kangaroo, and koala.  The Cool Cats do an excellent job of identifying these pictures.  We read books about Kites, Kangaroos, and Koala’s.  And we did a fun craft making our own kaleidoscopes.  As a treat we read a book about Peewee the Kiwi from New Zealand.  We enjoyed looking at the globe to see how far away Australia and New Zealand are and learned we can only see some of these special animals like a kangaroos and koalas in a zoo.   

 

Playful Bunnies News:  Jack the Jaguar puppet brought some fun things this week, including some of his favorite Jack stories – Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack Be Nimble and Jack and Jill. We also read Sheep in a Jeep and used the toys in our story basket to practice retelling the story. We had fun making a Jack and the Beanstalk craft, as well as painting fall colored leaves, using tissue paper to make fall trees, and playing with pumpkin pie playdough. It was a fun week! 
 

 

Top Dogs News:  This week we wrapped up Mr. J  and his jumbled junk.  We reviewed circle and learned all about triangles. We practiced for our Thanksgiving show and played a new game in gym called “Turkey on the Farm”.  We counted lots of items for our Giving Project.  We continued to go “Inside Autumn” and learned about red, yellow and green light foods.  

Lunch Bunch:
