Playful Bunnies Class News-This week the bunnies learned about transportation, the letter K, and Thanksgiving. We are continuing to have fun with our grocery store in the playroom. We also had fun finding the first road letter of our names and driving cars on them. On Friday we had fun driving cars in shaving cream. During circle time King Kristoff introduced the letter K to the bunnies. The bunnies got to find all the letter Ks in a message that King Kristoff sent. We did lots of fun learning activities during circle time including number and color recognition. We enjoyed reading books about kites, transportation, and Thanksgiving. One of our favorite books we read was Trashy Town by Andrea G. Zimmerman and David Clemesha. During craft time we enjoyed using our fine motor skills to put car stickers on a road and made a garbage truck. What a fun week!

Cool Cats Class News- ‘L’ is for LEGO Week!  The Cool Cats had a great week learning about the letter ‘L’, the number 6, and a Pentagon.  Our Center Room was stocked with for 4 sizes of Legos to build and create with.  We stamped Legos with paint, imprinted Legos with play dough, and created a Lobster with markers and tissue paper.  We read books about Lorenzo the Pizza Loving Lobster, Llama Llama crying for his Mama, and finding a new couch for a Llama, along with several other L books.   The Cool Cats are enjoying listening to books and are practicing their songs for the Thanksgiving Feast.  I hope they don’t get stage fright because they make a very joyful noise in the classroom.  It makes Mrs. Susan and Mrs. Kelly smile to hear them sing!

Top Dogs News-Oh no!  Kaptain Kangaroo is trying to take over Letter People Land!  It looks like Kaptain Kangaroo took the key to Letter People Land from Mr. Jing-a-ling, the keeper of the keys. Thankfully, Kylie Karate-“Never Fear, Kylie Karate is Here!”, is here to teach us Karate and save the day.  We will now call Kylie Karate each day and see which state they are in.  Currently, the gang is in California, running across the Golden Gate Bridge!
