Playful Bunnies News-The bunnies were so happy to be back at school after a fun winter break! They got right back into the routine and were so excited to play with their friends. The playroom has been transformed into a zoo. The bunnies are enjoying helping to take care of the animals. This week the bunnies used puffy paint to make a snowman and enjoyed using our fine motor skills with “snow” play dough. During circle time we met our letter N puppet, Nick the Nurse. We read snow books, practiced number identification with snowmen, and read a nose book, and matched animal noses. We had a fun week!

Cool Cats News: Welcome back from winter break Cool Cats! The Cool Cats were so happy to be back at school and quickly adapted to the school routines.   We have a new student, Scottie, whose mom is the new rector at A&HT.   Welcome Scottie, Brooklin, and Joey to our preschool family.    The Cool Cats learned a new letter, ‘O’.  We read books about the color orange, orange food, owls, oceans, and octopus.  We did a stamping Orange craft and an owl gluing craft.  We also learned about the number 9 and an Octagon.  Our playroom has been transformed into a Zoo, complete with cages, stuffed animals, feeding bowls, and mops to clean out the cages. The Cool Cats loved playing with all the new toys in the zoo!

Top Dogs News-The Top Dogs quickly got back into the preschool groove!  We got new seats on the rug, had our popcorn party, enjoyed Melted snowman milkshakes and met Mr. M who had been running late due to a snow storm in letter people land.  He brought us instruments to play to make music!  We checked in on Kylie Karate, Kaptain Kangaroo and Mr. K who are all friends now and traveling through our great United States of America doing fun things in each state.  They are all currently in Montana horseback riding!  We also started our unit on numbers.  We read lots of books about numbers and worked on our own pages:  Writing a number and then drawing the same number of pictures underneath.  Our assessment focus was on “Social and Emotional Development”.  Next week we will meet Mr. N, work on number 1-10 and General Skills.
