Preschool Office News:  Please bring in $1.00, in an envelope with your child’s name on it, before December 5th for Santa’s workshop.  Also, please turn all in all outstanding tuition and don’t forget to register for next school year before we open it up to the community.  Thanks!

Mixed-up Chameleons News-(MUC)-Today we practiced all of our songs from “Inside Autumn”, “Journey to Plymouth Rock” and “Kindness”.  We continued to brainstorm ways we could be kind to others and emphasized that we are kind not to receive something back, but out of the goodness of our hearts.  We had our expanded shape lesson on square, practiced writing our names and participated in the “shape writing challenge”. We also worked on a special turkey art project for our upcoming Thanksgiving feast.  When we return from break we will be starting “L” is for love and “M is for Merry Christmas”.

Very Hungry Caterpillar and Very Busy Spider News: “K” is for kindness week!  We started the week by talking about ways Max the Merry Moose was showing kindness to Robert the Rascally raccoon and talked about how we can show kindness to those people who do not have money for food, by giving them some food.  We also counted our food by fives, ones, and twos.  We practiced songs and made special art for our upcoming Thanksgiving feast and even got new seats on the rainbow rug!

Friday Enrichment News- We have finished up our Thanksgiving unit with wonderful faux pumpkin pies, whipped cream and all!  This week we will have no class due to Thanksgiving break.  Enjoy your time off!  When we return we will start our holiday unit and the letter L.

Brown Bear/Polar Bear News:  We are still busy practicing our songs for the Thanksgiving feast and are excited to sing for you on Tuesday!  In art we experimented with rollers, shaving cream and play dough.  We hope everyone enjoys all the yummy food at the feast and have a great break!!
