Playful Bunnies Class News: This week the bunnies had fun learning about the letter X, Spring, and flowers. We finished our camping unit and are now having fun with a flower shop in the playroom. The bunnies are enjoying making bouquets of flowers, paying for them, and giving them to their friends. During circle time, we read Spring books including Little Blue Truck’s Springtime by Alice Schertle. Our letter puppet Xander the X-ray puppet brought lots of fun things having to do with the letter X including: X-rays of animals, a xylophone we got to play, and we also practiced writing the letter X. We also painted a magic X picture and Q-tip painted a spring tree. What an “x”cellent week!

Cool Cats Class News:  This week we covered two letters X and Y, the number 13, and a circle. We enjoyed lots of art projects including gluing a multicolor Xylophone, gluing Q tips on our hands for an X-ray, creating a Y with a Yellow YoYo, and stamping and painting a Yellow sunflower.  We really enjoyed playing a real Alto Xylophone and making an X with our mallets.   Some of our students even tried playing the Xylophone in an X formation, very creative!  The Cool Cats have really enjoyed their outside playground time. We love listening in on all their imaginative games as they interact with one another outside.  The weather has been a blessing this week!  The Cool Cats have had lots of practice writing their names, it would be a great summer activity to encourage the art of name writing.  ✍️

Top Dogs Class News:  This week we started with our Top Dogs news, met Mr. X, who was very mixed-up and practiced a lot for our upcoming Letter People Musical/Graduation.  We read different versions of the “Three Little Pigs” and compared and contrasted the stories.
