Playful Bunnies Class News-This week the bunnies had a wonderful week learning about letter Q and space! We had a wonderful last week of playing in space in the playroom. During craft, we made a solar system, a rocket, and painted with “moon rock” puffy paint to make a moon. We also watched a rocket blast off into space on the iPad. During circle time we read Little Quack stories and retold the stories and counted with a flannel board. What a fun week!
Cool Cats News: Happy 4th Birthday Avery and Henry! Thanks for bringing in great treats for the class! ‘S’ is for Snake, Sun, Snail, Space, and Skating! We did some really fun crafts printing with forks and sponges, coloring with crayons, cutting wi the scissors, and adding color with dotters. The Cool Cats love to build with all types of materials. They have really enjoyed making space stations to house robots and aliens. Music and movement on Friday included ‘skating’ on wax paper in the playroom (even though it’s 60 degrees outside!). We will celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 15 at school.
Top Dogs News: This week we continued working on the letters P and Q. Mr. P, Pointy Patches, the Party Planner has been helping us get ready for our Valentine’s day party. He has brought us Pretzels, Popcorn, Potato chips, Paper clips, a potato and a parachute! We worked on learning our opposites, read lots of Valentine’s day books, and made some special valentines.
