Playful Bunnies News-This week we had farm fun and learned about the letter D. Our playroom was transformed into a farm! The bunnies are having fun collecting eggs, building homes for farm animals, and pretend playing with tractors and barns. During craft, we puffy painted a donut with sprinkles and made a farm scene from paper that we tore in the playroom. We also learned a new duck song, Five Little Ducks, perhaps your bunny has been singing it at home? We made our very own duck pond with the Mama duck and her ducklings. During centers the bunnies had fun playing in the water sensory table with ducks. What a busy week!

Cool Cats News-Happy 4th Birthday Ellie. Thanks for sending in the adorable paw print cookies.  🐾  What a cute treat!   The Cats learned about the letter ‘E’, the number 4, and the shape of a star.  We did a project where we had to use our Ears for listening to directions and our Eyes for seeing the paint. We also created a fun Elmer the Elephant with glue and tissue paper.  The pictures this week depict some of our students favorite time of the day, SNACK!  We head to snack after our first meeting time around 10:50.  Each student is called to receive hand sanitizer and pull out their snacks from their backpacks. They wait patiently on the wall opposite the backpacks until everyone is ready.  We walk ‘on the train tracks’ (straight line) to the snack room and each person finds their name for their assigned seat of the day.  We are really working hard for the students to recognize their printed names.  We say a quick prayer before the students dig in.  The teachers will help open snacks if asked but we really encourage independent skills during snack.  Each student cleans up their area and places their snacks outside the door so we can head to our second meeting time.  Thank you for sending such nutritious snacks for your students!!!
