Playful Bunnies News: I is for ice cream! The Bunnies made two different ice cream crafts – one with puffy paint and sprinkles and the other with colorful scoops. We practiced counting the scoops of ice cream, too. We read “Should I Share My Ice Cream?” by Mo Willems. We also learned a fun ice cream felt story. We’ve also been talking about Fall leaves and learning some new songs. It was a fun week!

Cool Cats News: The Cool Cats enjoyed the week learning about the letter ‘J’, the number 9, and a pentagon.  We did a Jewel craft practicing our glue bottle skills, and a Jelly Bean craft practicing our glue stick skills and strengthening our fine motor skills.  We also had fun balancing Bean Bags on our body parts as we listened to the ‘Bean Bag Bop’.   We read books about Jellyfish, Jellybeans, and Fall leaves.  🍁

Top Dogs News:  This week we met Miss “I’, incredible inventor.  She brought us some of her inventions to try out including a back scratcher, astronaut ice cream, and brain pills.  We continued learning about the days of the week, the weather, and the pledge of allegiance.  We sang lots of songs- “Mr. Sun”, “The Leaves are Falling Down”, “The Leaves on the Trees”, “Did you ever see a tree?”, “Gray Squirrel”,  “America”, “I’m a Nut” and “1 little, 2 little, 3 little, Wompanoags”.  We read “Earl the Squirrel”, “Pete the Cat’s Thanksgiving” and “Clifford’s Thanksgiving Visit”.  We are starting to prepare for our Thanksgiving Party show.
