Playful Bunnies Class News-The bunnies had so much fun “camping” and learning about the letter V this week! The bunnies are enjoying cooking marshmallows and making s’mores over our campfire and fishing in the ponds in our playroom! During snack, we are trying and graphing if we like different vegetables. Most of the bunnies are enjoying trying new foods! During circle time, we read In the Tall, Tall Grass by Denise Fleming and enjoyed finding creatures in our tall, tall grass story telling box. We also continued to read We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. During craft we made binoculars, tore brown paper for firewood, and painted campfires with marshmallows.

Cool Cats Class News-Happy 4th Birthday Mira on 4/4 (it also happens to be Mrs. Kelly’s birthday too). During our short week we reviewed the letter ‘U’ and introduced the letter ‘V’. One of the Cool Cats fan favorites every year is a series by Aaron Reynolds and Peter Brown about Jasper Rabbit and his ‘Creepy Underwear’ followed by ‘Creepy Carrots’. The Cool Cats love these stories and we have companion crafts where they can make their own Creepy Underwear and Creepy Carrots to be displayed in our center room. We also have great big fun learning about Volcanos. We read two books about volcanos, observe a real volcano erupting on an iPad, and create our own volcanos with exploding paint. Happy Easter Cool Cats and families!

Top Dogs Class News: This week we met Mr. V, Violet Velvet Vest and his son, Very Veggie. We read the book “Creepy Carrots” and ate some carrots. We tried “Bugs on a Log” and salad. We read lots of books about seeds, vegetables and gardening.
