Indiana Dunes State Park-Indiana

Dear Preschool Pals,

Today I got to go to see some sand dunes with my family.  We stopped at the visitor center first, and got a workbook to work through to become a junior park ranger.  If you visit, you can do this too!  Abe and Cal had to answer many questions and work really hard to identify the five great lakes, animal foot prints, and other facts about the Indiana dunes.  The Park Ranger graded their work and presented them with a Junior ranger pin and patch.  Since he used to be a fire fighter, he also gave them a Smokey the Bear button, reminding us “That only YOU can prevent forest fires”.  If you like the beach, the water, and hanging out in the sun, you would like the Indiana Dunes!
