Love

I just wanted to take a minute to share with our preschool parents what a special year this has been for our VHC, VBS and MUC classes.  While each year has a different feel, and each year is GOOD in it’s own way, this year has been very special to me because of the love I see that the preschool pals share with each other.  And when I say love, I mean true love, not passive.  It has been so wonderful to observe kindness that has occurred when they think the teachers are not looking.  The conflicts that are solved in open, heart felt ways.  The honest feelings that are expressed and handled in real ways.

When it comes down to it, our lives are about relationships with each other.  While getting our preschool pals to learn their 1,2, 3’s and A,B,C’s are great academic goals that we strive for, the ability to interact in a real way is truly the heart of life and learning.  I am truly touched that our classes this year have been able to enjoy this special time.  The Preschool Pals have taken ownership of the classroom and have enjoyed freedoms most classes cannot handle.  This year has been a very special year and each preschool pal has found a special place in my heart!

I am looking forward to the remaining time I have with this group.  A big THANKS for all your support and encouragement to the teaching staff and for all you do at home with your child.  Here’s to a wonderful Spring Term!
