Visit a WWII ship

The follow is some information shared from Conner Sutton’s Family.

Here is a link to LST-325, a real WWII ship used to transport tanks and
aircraft.  They could even ‘catapult’ aircraft from the deck.  We saw it in
the fall of 2011 in Rising Sun, Indiana.  It is birthed in Evansville,
Indiana, but makes periodic trips to other river locations.

This particular ship was in Greece and was operated back to the US several
years ago, under its own power.  Jean’s Uncle was on one of these during
WWII.

A true piece of history, and a glimpse into the past, presented by WWII
veterans that comprise the crew.
