The Hanging Gardens of Babylon-Summer Camp-Day #1

What a wonderful start to our week of summer family camp!  It was so nice to have a nice mix of ages, from 2-13, and see lots of former students!  Today we learned about the hanging gardens of Babylon, talked about what a “wonder” is and learned more about gardening.  We thought it was truly a wonder that from a little seed we can get food!  We planted plants in our two-liter bottles and made dirt cake for snack.  We also had a visit from two crazy scientists who taught us about gravity.  We made flower pictures during blanket art and played the oldie but goodie, Duck, Duck, Goose.  It was wonderful to see everyone working, helping, interacting and supporting each other, just like a family!
