Playful Bunnies Class News- S is for Space! We are still having fun playing with our space toys. This week’s addition is a cardboard box moon rover and a bunch of moon rocks to find and count. We read space books, learned some fun rocket ship yoga moves – it’s always fun to blast off. We practiced some counting and number identification too. During craft, painted with moon and sun cookie cutters, used Q-tips to paint a star, made a space wreath and played with playdough. Very fun week!

Cool Cats Class News-The Cool Cats extended their week learning about the letter ‘S’, the number 6, and square.  The students enjoyed doing a square shape hunt during meeting and they learned a new ABC phonics song this week.  Our crafts included a snail accompanied by our stuffed friend Escargot, who is an adorable little character from a book series named for him.  We also had a popcorn party as we leaned about the five senses-seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling, and tasting yummy popcorn from an air popper.   Friday concluded our space unit with an outer space obstacle course.  The Cool Cats are going to miss blasting off into space!  🚀

Top Dogs Class News:  This week we learned about the four Seasons.  We made a chart listing the signs of each season, sang songs and read book about each one.  Mr. S, Super Socks arrived and brought us signs of each season.  We also worked on our scissor skills!
