Playful Bunnies Class News- The Bunnies are definitely having lots of fun together! We still have the flower shop in our playroom – they’ve been busy taking orders over the phone. We added some musical instruments, too – we have some musicians in our class! During circle time, Yancy the Yak taught us about the letter Y and we also read spring and gardening books. We’ve been pretending to plant and water at our planting station center. Our crafts included drawing lines for stems and using flower stickers to make a flower garden, using Elmer’s glue to make a yellow collage, and using markers to make a colorful bouquet of flowers. Fun week!

Cool Cats Class News-We made it to the letter ‘Z’!   We read two books about Zebra’s and painted stripes on a letter Z. We also read two books about Zoo’s and created our own zoos with stickers and crayons.  The Cool Cat fan favorite book is called ‘What Do They Do With All That Poo’.  We leaned real facts about animal waste and yes, talked about Poo at the Zoo.   We had an awesome field trip to Library!  The Cool Cats did an excellent job walking safely to the Library and they sat very quietly for story time.  We hope your family will enjoy many more trips to the library this summer, let your Cool cat show you around.

Top Dogs Class News: This week we practiced, practiced and practiced!  We met Mr. Y who brought us yellow oreos, yarn and Yoo-hoos..  We read “old yarns” each day-“The Three Billy Goats Gruff”, “The Little Red Hen”, “The Three Bears” and “The Gingerbread Man”.   We worked on wrapping up assessment and got outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.
