The month of January brings us the the letter “N” for neighborhood, “O” for occupations, and “P” for people. When we put it all together, we end up with our “Who are the people in your neighborhood?” study! To enhance our study, we are asking for any parents who are interested to visit our class this January, for the last fifteen minutes of your child’s class time, to share about your career, or hobby. (Even if your job is taking care of your house, preschoolers can relate to seeing their family members fold clothes, wash dishes, etc.) A lot of times, the speakers will bring in pictures, read short books, or “show & tell” the items they use at work. Also, feel free to bring in little things to hand out to the class at the end of your talk, if you desire. This has been sunglasses from the zoo, tattoos, plastic gloves from medical workers, marketing materials, etc. If you are interested in participating, please see Sandy when arriving to school and she will get you scheduled.
