Recognizing Familiar Sounds

One of the goals of objectives for preschoolers is to be able to recognize familiar sounds. The easiest way to test this skill is to make a sound, like “moo” and ask your child what makes that sound.  Continue with various other sounds, like animals, automated sounds, etc.,  until your child seems to have mastered recognizing the majority of the familiar sounds.
