Playful Bunnies Class News-During this short week the bunnies enjoyed learning about the letter P and the zoo! We continue to have a wonderful time in our zoo playroom. This week, we added ocean animals, an insect world, and a zoo train. During circle time, Penelope Pig, our letter puppet, brought two fun books for us to read. We read Sing and Dance in Your Polka Dot Pants by Eric Litwin and we read The Three Little Pigs. We also had a sentence that Penelope Pig brought that we got to find all the letter P’s in. During centers, the bunnies had a great time making pizzas in our Pizza Parlor. During craft, we used our fine motor skills with ocean stickers and we used dotters to make our own polka dot pants. What a fun week!
Cool Cats Class News-
The Cool Cats enjoyed this short week learning about the letter ‘Q’ and its best friend ‘U’. We reviewed shapes and numbers and did a lot of calendar counting due to the snow days we missed. Our projects included gluing quilt squares on the letter Q and paining with Q-tips. We really enjoyed the Love Box this week that was filled with Quiet Kittens snuggled in a Quilt!
Top Dogs News: We met Mr. P, Pointy Patches the Party Planner, who is helping us get ready for our Valentine’s Day party! He brought us Popcorn, Pretzels and Pepperoni for our Valentine’s Day party. He also brought us the game “Pretty, Pretty, Princess.” We read the books “Popcorn” ,”Pete the Cat’s Perfect Pizza Party” and some Valentines Day books.
