OFFICE NEWS- Thanks for turning in the forms!! It’s so helpful to get them in as soon as possible. If you haven’t turned in the medical form (signed by a doctor) for your child yet, please turn it in or let us know when we can expect it. Thank you so much!
TOP DOGS-We worked on learning the days of the week, met “Miss A who goes A-A-A-Chooooo!”, made lots of art projects, worked on our RED book, learned all about the color of red, learned our playground rules/muscle room rules, and talked about morning routines. We read lots of book from the “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” book series by Laura Numeroff & Felicia Bond. The Top Dogs are off to an A-mazing start!

Cool Cats News- The next several Cool Cat Weekly Roundups will capture a specific section of our day. When you drop off your student, they immediately enter the building and hang their own backpacks up under their name card. Then they come to the bench and pick up their name tag to hang on the owls with their picture posted on it. We are working hard this year for each student to recognize their name. The Owl Welcome Board allows our class to visually see who is here and who is not. In addition, it creates a visual of each student in our class. We also take verbal attendance so the students recognize their name being called out loud. Their job is to raise their hand and say ‘I am here.’ The Cool Cats are quickly learning all their classmates names! We have enjoyed sharing the Summer Fun posters with the class. Wow, you all had a great summer!
Playful Bunnies News-We had so much fun at school this week! We started a mini unit on bugs. We had fun playing with bugs and making homes for them in the playroom. During circle and center time, we read books, sorted, and played with bugs in the sensory bin. We also made a color collage, combined colors and painted to see what the new color would be, and we played with bugs in play dough. We learned a new song about an alligator and 5 silly monkeys. On Friday, we celebrated Greyson’s birthday. Happy birthday, Greyson! What a fun, busy week!
