Playful Bunnies Class News-P is for Pizza! The Bunnies listened to two favorite books during our circle time – Hi, Pizza Man and Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party (which had some crazy toppings.) Then, we all got to try some of those toppings and say and graph whether we liked them or not. We tried pretzels, pickles, pepperoni and papaya! This Bunny group is very willing to try new foods! We made a couple pizza crafts and had so much fun making and delivering pizzas in our new Pizza Parlor center. And we finally got back outside to play! What a great week.
Cool Cats News: The Cool Cats explored the letter ‘R’, the number 10, and a Rectangle this week. Our week was full of Rainbows. We learned a catchy song to the tune of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ that recites all the colors of the rainbow. We did 3 rainbow crafts and read a fun book called ‘Mixed’ that showed us how mixing primary colors make orange, purple, and many other colors too. We allowed the students to mix their own paint colors of the rainbow to see what new colors they could make. The Cool Cats LOVE rainbows!🌈
Top Dogs News: This week we continued working on the letters P and Q. Mr. P, Pointy Patches, the Party Planner has been helping us get ready for our Valentine’s day party. He has brought us Pretzels, Popcorn, Pistachios, Pepperoni, Pineapple, Peanut butter cookies, Potato chips, Paper clips, a potato and a parachute! We worked on learning our opposites, read lots of Valentine’s day books, and made some special valentines.
