The Cool Cats are Scientists!

The Cool Cats discovered some fascinating natural science on our playground this Tuesday. One of our students observed a cicada shell on the back side of the slide and noticed it wasn’t empty.   We hypothesized that a cicada might emerge. We watched and waited, and before our eyes the cicada hatched out of its shell!   Mrs. Susan and Mrs. Kelly were exceptionally excited to watch this unfold during our outdoor play time!
