Summer Camp-Day #3-Groundhog's Day

Today is Groundhog’s Day!  We learned all about Punxsutawney Phil and Buckeye Chuck. We remembered that if the Groundhog saw his shadow we would have six more weeks of Winter!   We made sunshine salad for cooking, which is a pineapple ring, vanilla yogurt and a squirt of honey.  For art, we painted groundhogs.  We learned a groundhog finger play and enjoyed another fun day interacting with our summer camp friends. 🙂
