The kids decorated the letter “B” with blue paint, we made bubbles and our “Grumpy” birds are very abstract. Our letter next week is “C”. Please have your child bring in a picture that starts with the letter “C” to share during group time and to put on our alphabet wall. Just a reminder, pack a small snack for your child to put in the red wagon outside our room, lunches go in the wagon by Mrs. Kim’s room and please have your child use the bathroom before school starts. They will get a sticker if they do!
Panda Bear News: –The 2′s had a another great week. In art we made alphabet soup, painted apple pictures with cotton balls, and used the rollers for the first time. For circle time, we continued to practice colors and counting with our fish felt board story and our fish fingerplay. We sang “Wheels on the Bus” and our “Hello” song. New this week, we introduced the letter A and we found out what was inside our mystery A box – an apple! In honor of the letter A, our alligator puppet made an appearance to the delight of the kids. The children are learning our transition songs and doing a great job with all of the transitions. We sing the “Clean Up” song from “Barney” for cleaning up the classroom, “Put your Finger on the Wall” for walking in the hallways, and we even sing a transition song to get our hands clean for snack and to get ready to pray. We are really proud of the 2′s class, and we look forward to another fun week.
