OFFICE NEWS- Thanks for turning in the forms!! It’s so helpful to get them in as soon as possible. If you haven’t turned in the medical form (signed by a doctor) for your child yet, please turn it in or let us know when we can expect it. Thank you so much!
TOP DOGS-We worked on learning the days of the week, met “Miss A who goes A-A-A-Chooooo!”, made lots of art projects, worked on our RED book, learned all about the color of red, learned our playground rules/muscle room rules, and talked about morning routines. We read lots of book from the “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” book series by Laura Numeroff & Felicia Bond. The Top Dogs are off to an A-mazing start!
Cool Cats News- The Cool Cats had a great second week at preschool. Once they say goodbye to their adult, the students come in, hang up their backpack and grab their name tag. They enter our Center Classroom to find their picture and match their name on the coordinating hook. This allows us to see quickly who is present that day and builds community by helping the students recognize each other’s names and pictures. We also learned about the letter ‘A’. We read Ant, Apple, and Airplane Books, did two apple crafts plus and ant craft. We learned a fun song that names the parts of an ant-head, thorax, abdomen, and they eat with a mandible (chomp)!
Playful Bunnies News-What a fun second week of school! The week we have added bugs to our block table and sensory table. We also have bugs to observe and sort during centers. We enjoyed Q-tip painting bunnies. The bunnies learned about the letter A with our puppet, Alice the Alligator. We also had our first letter mystery box. We found an apple, an alligator, and an ant inside it this week. The bunnies are a lot of fun, and are becoming sweet friends!
