Summer Camp-July 22-26

Dear Summer Campers,

We are gearing up for an exciting summer camp and look forward to traveling

the world with you!  During this second week of camp, the campers will be

studying Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

We will be learning about the animals,

dress, landmarks, music, environment, and food from each location.  If you

have a chance to get to the library and check out some books about our

upcoming locations, that would help expand the learning that will take place

during the week of camp.  During our camp day, we will have learning

centers, art, a small snack, group learning times, and gross motor time.

A couple of reminders:

*We will be going outside.  Please apply all sunscreen and bug spray prior

to coming to camp.  ALSO, WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES, and keep the accessories to

a minimum.

*Please send your camper with a lunch to camp with their name on it.  Please

review the preschool blog for lunch requests and procedures of what to pack

and what not to pack for lunch.

*If your child is not potty-trained, or has been having accidents lately,

please leave a diaper bag/change of clothes on your child’s hook on the

hallway for easy access to changing.

*If you did not attend A&HT Preschool this school year, we must have copies

of your emergency transportation before your child

begins camp.

*Camp is scheduled to run from  9:30-12:30, on M, Tu, Th, & F.  Please remain

outside until the preschool door is opened “wide” for you to enter.

Since we are anticipating lots of excitement and happiness upon reuniting with their preschool pals,

we are going to have all campers enter the “normal” preschool entrance, place their lunch and

other items in the proper locations, and then head to the muscle room.  Mrs. Mandy will be

manning the muscle room for those with a lot of energy and also will have some

beach blankets laid out in the hall with some beading activities for campers who would prefer a

quieter start.  We are hoping that by getting out some energy, we will be able to better teach our

preschool campers about our wonderful world!

Thanks again for signing your child up for summer camp!  We are looking

forward to exploring our world together!

Fondly,

Sandy Rempe and Mandy Bryan
