Top Dogs-What did you do at school today?

Top Dogs-What did you do at school today?

Depending on your preschool pal, you may get a whole days worth of events, some true and some not.  You may get who got in trouble; of course, not them.  You may get just good, and that’s it.  Well, to help you get more, and hopefully accurate information from your Top Dog, the following are some great questions to ask about their day!

  1.  What books did Teacher Sandy read to you today?  (We usually read up to four, except on Fridays.)
  2. What songs did you sing?  (We usually introduce one new song a week, besides the songs we sing everyday.)
  3. Who was the Top Dog this week? (Everyone will eventually have a turn.)
  4. What is your job this week? (We get new jobs each Monday.)
  5. Were you being like Chip the Wonder Dog today?  What was something wonderful you did?
  6. Were you being an Awful Augie today?  Did you do anything awful?  (Of course not!).
  7. What did you play out at recess?
  8. What letter are you learning about this week?  What is the long sound?  What is the short sound?  What words start with this letter?
  9. Did any letter people come to visit?  What did they bring you?  How does their song go?
  10. Who was your learning partner today for partners and centers?
  11. What game did you play in gym class? (Friday)
  12. What dance moves did you do in the dance contest? (Friday)

Hope these questions will help give you a great idea of what your child does each day at preschool!
