Taping

Preschoolers love to use scotch tape.  Plus, it is good for their fine motor skills!

  1.  First, start by introducing scotch tape and model how to use it, and how not to use it.
  2. Gather some paper.  Practice together “taping” the paper.  You can fold it, or make it into a “telescope”.
  3. If your child is interested, have him/her cut out different shapes/scraps.  Tape them to another piece of paper.  (Think of contemporary, or modern art.)
  4. Add in markers, crayons, or colored pencils for added color.
