Stapling

Preschoolers love to use staplers! They are great for learning small/fine motor skills. They also make the preschoolers feel confident and grown up.

Start by introducing the stapler. Show them how it is constructed and how to use it safely.
Practice stapling with your preschooler. Depending on your stapler, they may initially need help with pressing it down hard enough.
Now, gather some paper and let your preschooler practice stapling.
